The Festival of FUN, a picnic blanket singalong event for people with a disability, their friends, family and carers...It is proudly brought to you by the ARHG Foundation. A full ACNC approved charity registered in Australia.

The Festival of FUN is for EVERYONE! All abilities are welcome.

It is a family friendly event covering all ages.

The timetable will be released closer to the event.

Yes! The whole event will be wheelchair accessible.

Yes! Accessible toilets will be available.

Yes, there are removable chairs. 

Yes! We will be able to sell on the day if we have not sold out prior. We encourage early ticket purchase to avoid disappointment.

You will not only receive an awesome afternoon of entertainment, you also have access to the outer stadium activities such as Try me Sports Arena, Art Hub, All about you Expo and our Fun Fair.

Food is available at the venue. But you can bring non commercial food. 

Free parking is available on site

Yes, the venue does accept companion cards and should be registered at ticket purchase.

We are happy for you to record any elements of the event on personal phones. Professional recording is not allowed.

There are so many fun things to do with more getting added over time! First off there will be expo stalls to explore, farm animals to visit, sporting events to try and view (which will be fun too). There will be face painters and food trucks and that’s all on the outside! The event inside the stadium is a singalong. The words will be up on the big screens to follow along to, whilst performers sing and dance on stage. There will be giveaways and audience participation is encouraged!

We will adhere to any health regulations set out by the QLD State Government at event time. Singing and dancing is encouraged. But we need to ensure we follow health guidelines.

There’s a onsite cafe plus multiple food trucks and a sausage sizzle

Yes, the tickets will be available to purchase in family passes. The ticket types will be published when we go on sale in Feb 2022.

YES! We will have lots of awesome merchandise available for sale in the lead up to the event and on event day. Follow our socials and check our website to be kept up to date.

No! Simply turn up and get involved! There will be gold coin donation buckets around the venue if you would like to contribute.

Anyone can participate in the Try Me Sports Arena, although it is aimed at people with a disability having a go. Register your interest here

The Concert starts at 1 pm with doors opening at 12:30 pm.

The stage acts will finish at approximately 7.15pm

Buses and trains will be available on the day. 

Prohibited Items Include but not limited to (venue and hirers discretion):

  • Large oversized items including hard edge eskies
  • Folding chairs
  • Dangerous or illegal substances
  • Loud Hailers
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Musical Instruments (including horns, drums and whistles)
  • Flags or banners
  • Items which are regarded as offensive or which can be used as a projectile or missile
  • Professional standard cameras with detachable lenses over 300mm, video and/or audio recorders, commercial digital equipment, camera tripods and/or monopods, are NOT permitted.
  • Animals (with the exception of certified service animals)
  • Hard eskies larger than 40cm x 40cm x 40cm (I would say NO Eskies at all). Purchase them there our brand maybe or just purchase our cooler bag .....
  • Bags and items larger than an A3 piece of paper
  • Clothing, personal items, signs or flags displaying commercial, political, religious or offensive signage or logos (unless approved in writing prior to the event by the Hirer or Venue)
  • Items which in the opinion of Management, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person

Prohibited Food and Beverage Items

  • Commercial food (e.g. from takeaway or fast food outlets, McDonald's, Subway, KFC, Domino’s etc.)
  • Commercial beverages
  • Deliveries from external caterers
  • Alcoholic beverages

If you would like to bring a prohibited item for medical reasons, please contact us prior to attending the event in writing.

Yes, terms and conditions will apply. T&C's will be published when tickets go on sale.

Yes, pass outs will be provided.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible. A receipt will be given for your records.

No. The concert is indoors. 

All potential performers are encouraged to contact the event directors to discuss performing. We do have a talent quest for people with a disability, if you can sing, dance, entertain please conatct us via our website / limited spots available.
